Caribbean Vacation: Loving a Caribbean Cruise Vacation

What can you expect from a Caribbean cruise vacation? Well, depending on who you talk to, you’ll hear different answers. Most of all, you would hear about the fun time you can have aboard the cruise ship. You might also hear about the serial cruisers walking the decks of every cruise.

Then again, you might hear tales of passengers going overboard … Pirates attacking the ship … The crew denying their bid to board the ship by spouting loud gushes of water in their way … And a host of other tales.

Whatever story you hear it would move you to book a Caribbean cruise vacation. But hold on for a moment, at least finish reading this short piece on cruising the Caribbean.

Whenever you mention the Caribbean most people always grin and confess their love to go there or to go again.

Travelers have been cruising the Caribbean long before the TV show, The Loveboat.

In fact, vacationers romanced their journeys to the island with eloquent tales of people and places. Huge ocean liners moved recreational travelers during the first half of the twentieth century. Since a one-way trip took about one to two weeks, travelers had an extended time to become intoxicated by the fresh tropical air. When they returned home they began spewing both good and bad tales — superstitious and supernatural.

Today, most travel to the Caribbean is by air. Crowded airports, strong security and short trips make for a stressful vacation.

However, spending a Caribbean cruise vacation is the ideal way to travel and absorb those glorious memories that make up the Caribbean islands.
