Caribbean Vacation: Reunion Part 2

Well, I am sure you guessed correctly where the parents took their kids on their next vacation. In case you didn’t suspect, they did go to Trinidad again. You might say, how could they when there are so many other places to go. As an aside there is a chap who recently wrote a book on travel. His hook was discrediting the islands and all the other places real vacationers go for a short break. Of course, it was his approach to get the book to sell like hotcakes. But let me tell him there’s no other place for a Caribbean Vaction like Trinidad and Tobago; there’s no place like the Caribbean islands with its majestic scenery, friendly people, and hot, hot, spicy cusiine. I don’t care how many books you sell with nonsense about the islands being overrated, you ain’t gonna find a better place for a holiday.

Anyway, the parents do miss their native country and have to go back to see their relatives and other related people on the islands. So the kids don’t stand a chance of going somewhere else unless their rich auntie comes along and takes them to one of those places where they sell french fries and other fattening stuff. Of course, when the kids grow up they decide to travel to other places and this is fine. But you need to understand the parents live outside the Caribbean to make money and get a few more perks for working. Another thing is the Carnival. Many of these parents misss the carnival and they go back to jump and wine, shake their behind in the streets of Port of Spain. Of course, they can go to Rio, but it is not the same. Unless you experience a carnival on the land of the hummingbird and the bird of paradise, you ain’t live yet.

So the reunion going to take place in August 2009 and plenty of them Trinis will step in style and perhaps take some mamaguy during the reunion.
