When you hear your travel agent talking about the “wildlife” in the Caribbean, I am sure your ears perk up. Perhaps you might be thinking that the natives wll be running wild during your caribbean vacation, and you may be wondering whether you should go ahead with your plans for your vacation.
But in this case, wildlife refers to the colorful wilderness with exotics birds and animals you will find if you decided on a wilderness tour or go on an adventure hike with your family. You are probably aware of the cora reefs under water that give new meaning to a vacation, but if you haven’t seen the tropical forests on some of these pictureresque island, you owe it to yourself to get there on your next vacation.
Your travel agent may also talk about “swimming with the sharks.” Of course, this phrase has many meanings in North America and in Europe, and many books, movies, and real life dramas have played out with this popular phrase. But don’t take these phrases literally, but do plan to enjoy what nature has so majestically put together.
